Give back to UVa while helping Chabad as well

 Chabad of Charlottesville works daily to assist, educate, and inspire university students and the greater community in expanding their Jewish knowledge, practice, and pride in a non-judgmental environment.  

All of our Chabad House activities, its mortgage and utilities and our Rabbi's income comes only from the generous contributions of our alumni, parents, community members, and friends.  We receive no funding from any other organization including any other Chabad entity 

  All gifts are tax-deductible.

 

 

TWO OPPORTUNITIES TO DONATE:

 

1. Give back to UVa by donating to the UVa Fund 
while helping Chabad at the same time.

(When you click below to donate to the UVa Fund, make sure to list your contribution amount and "CHABAD" in the "Other" field of the "Gift Allocation" section. Your entire contribution amount is then forwarded directly to Chabad and you also receive credit for donating to UVa.)

Many employers match employee university contributions.  Please consult your employer's human resources department to learn if your donation to UVa is eligible for a matching contribution!

 Celebrate a simcha or remember a loved one

 

Celebrate a simcha, like a relative's bar or bat mitzvah, a special birthday or wedding anniversary or even just a good grade on an exam, or remember a loved one who just passed away or on the anniversary of their death by sponsoring a program at Chabad House in their honor or memory.  Please review the following list of sponsorships to find one that interests you.  Email your choice to Rabbi Mayer at chabadofuva@earthlink.net and the item you sponsor will be specially dedicated to the person you choose.
