Bikkur Cholim Program

Dear Visitor,

Whether your stay in Charlottesville is for personal medical treatment or as a support for someone undergoing treatment, we want you to know that we are here 24 hours a day for your comfort.  The following info should help you navigate the Jewish resources here in Charlottesville:

Kosher food

UVa now has kosher sandwiches in Newcomb Hall They are pre-packed. Salads available also.

The local GIANT grocery store carries frozen chicken, eggrolls, blintzes, potato salad, coleslaw,  pasta salad, humus and pita.

The local KROGER carries frozen pizza, burritos and kosher frozen dinners and some cholov yisroel cheeses.

FOOD OF ALL NATIONS sells kosher wine and fresh kosher meat.
